Day 1. Dublin, Ireland – Tour Begins
Travel to the magical Emerald Isle. Soak in the landscape of rolling hills and feel the warmth of an Irish welcome. Visit Dublin, Waterford, Killarney and Limerick as this comprehensive tour introduces Ireland’s natural beauty, rich history and most importantly, its hospitable culture. Open your tour in Dublin. Tonight, join your fellow travellers for some traditional entertainment during a fun-filled Irish evening including regional cuisine.

Day 2. Dublin

Today you decide how you want to explore Dublin. You may choose to set out with a local guide on a drive to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral, St. Stephan’s Green, Grafton Street, and the historic Phoenix Park. Or, perhaps you will choose a walking tour of the city’s historic centre, exploring O’Connell Street, the General Post Office, and the River Liffey. Spend the remainder of your day relaxing or set out to independently explore more of charming Dublin

Day 3. Dublin – Kilkenny – Waterford

Travel to Kilkenny to explore the medieval atmosphere of this city situated on the banks of the River Nore. Then, arrive in the historic city of Waterford and visit the House of Waterford Crystal. Enjoy a fascinating factory tour and browse the retail store housing the largest collection of Waterford Crystal in the world. Complete your day with a leisurely paced walking tour of this unique city.

Day 4. Waterford – Blarney Stone – Killarney

Today, journey to historic Blarney Castle and embrace the opportunity to kiss the famous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that those who kiss the stone are bestowed with the gift of eloquence. This afternoon you decide how you would like to explore charming Killarney. You may enjoy a time-honoured jaunting car ride* to beautiful Muckross House: set out on a tour of this stately home and its gardens and get a glimpse into the elegant lifestyle of the Victorian gentry as you explore the perfectly restored rooms of this magnificent mansion. Or, perhaps you’ll choose to enjoy a scenic jaunting car ride* through Killarney National Park to Ross Castle; then, board a traditional boat* and sail through the breathtaking lakes in the company of an expert boatman known for their local knowledge and ‘craic’ (amusing nature). This evening its Diner’s Choice…tonight’s dinner is included and you’ll choose the perfect spot from a ‘menu’ of Killarney’s great restaurants.

Day 5. Killarney – Ring of Kerry – Killarney

Travel along one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the world, the Ring of Kerry. At the Gap of Dunloe, shop for traditional Irish goods handcrafted by local artisans. Enjoy pristine ocean scenery as you move through picturesque villages. Continue on as you traverse rugged mountain passes into “Ladies View.” From this spectacular vantage point, one of Ireland’s finest, gaze upon the Lakes of Killarney. Tonight you may use your leisure time to sample a true taste of Irish culture.

Day 6. Killarney – Limerick

Today, experience the customs and daily life of a traditional Irish family during a memorable farm visit. Continue to Limerick where a panoramic city tour showcases King John’s Castle and the Treaty Stone. Delve into the fascinating history of the “city of the violated treaty.”

Day 7. Limerick – Cliffs of Moher – Galway – Limerick

An exciting day awaits. Journey to the stunning, 700-foot-high Cliffs of Moher for awe-inspiring views of the mighty Atlantic. Then, travel through the vast limestone landscape of the Burren, known for its stark beauty and Neolithic tombs. Continue past scenic countryside into Galway, where a brief city tour introduces “The City of Tribes.” Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8. Limerick – Tullamore/Kilbeggan – Kingscourt

Start your day with a cross-country journey to Irish whiskey territory. The ancient towns of Tullamore and Kilbeggan have long been associated with the whiskey industry. Become engaged in the process of whiskey making and enjoy a tasting of the final product during a visit to one of these historic distilleries. Top your day off with an overnight stay on the regal grounds of Cabra Castle where you toast the end of a fabulous trip during your farewell dinner.

Day 1. Budapest, Hungary – Tour Begins – Board Ship
Join us on the legendary waterways that define the true soul of Europe. Your tour opens in Budapest, Hungary’s capital city. Board your ship for a relaxing 14-night river cruise. Day 4. Vienna

Day 6. Linz – Passau, Germany

Arrive in stunning Linz, a favourite city of Mozart, who dedicated his Linz Symphony to this town. Take a stroll through the city with a local expert and discover its many treasures. Later, cruise to Passau, where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Have time to explore this beautiful city. Discover the gems of the city including St. Stephan’s Cathedral and the world’s largest church organ.

Day 7. Regensburg – Kelheim

Today, arrive in magnificent Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities. A city walk features the old Town Hall, 12th-century Stone Bridge, St. Peter’s Cathedral and the Porta Pretoria. Tonight, the ship enters the first stretch of the fascinating Main-Danube Canal as you make your way towards medieval Kelheim.

Day 8. Nuremberg

Depart on a guided tour of picturesque Nuremberg, Bavaria’s second largest city. You will be awed by 900-year-old ramparts, the Imperial Castle and the Justice Palace. Later, continue sailing and arrive at the impressive stair-step locks where you will ascend to the highest point of your cruise.

Arrive in Würzburg, the “Pearl of the Romantic Road.” Nearly destroyed during WW II, Würzburg has been rebuilt into a beautiful Franconian town. Visit fascinating sights including the magnificent Prince-Bishops Residence, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue cruising through the pastoral Franconian wine region.

Day 11. Wertheim and Miltenberg

Today you disembark in Wertheim where you will get to know the city on a walking tour through its cobblestone streets lined with gabled, half-timbered houses, followed by a visit to the famous Wertheim Glass Museum. Next, continue to Miltenberg with time to explore the city including its enchanting market square before returning to the ship.

Day 12. Rüdesheim – Koblenz

Cruise along a beautiful stretch of the Rhine. Sail through the dramatic Rhine Gorge, dotted with hilltop castles. You will see the legendary Lorelei Rock before arriving in Rüdesheim, a charming Rhine Valley wine town. The “Winzerexpress” mini-train takes you to Siegfried´s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum for a guided tour. Time is made for you to explore the pedestrian street, Drosselgasse, on your own. Later, cruise to Koblenz, at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Enjoy an early evening walk of this charming town surrounded by vine-covered hills.

Day 13. Koblenz – Cologne

Set out on a drive along New Orleans’ historic Esplanade Avenue. Then, journey through Louisiana’s swamp on a cruise* narrated by your captain. This morning, enjoy a panoramic tour of New Orleans with a local guide. Begin by seeing St. Louis Cemetery #3 which opened in 1854 and holds some of the most elaborate crypts found in the city’s cemeteries. Then, relax during a drive along the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain. This romantic road eventually leads to St. Charles Avenue, whisking you past gorgeous mansions as well as Tulane and Loyola, two world-famous universities. Day 2. Jackson Hole – Grand Tetons – Yellowstone Snow Lodge

Take a drive through the majestic Grand Tetons to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Your Yellowstone winter adventure begins by boarding a snowcoach. This unique vehicle will transport you over the snow-covered landscape and past some of the park’s most stunning scenery — including Moose Falls, Lewis Falls and West Thumb Geyser. The coach will continue over Craig Pass and on to Old Faithful.

Day 3. Yellowstone Snow Lodge

Wake up just minutes away from Old Faithful and enjoy a brisk walking tour led by a park ranger; you’ll learn the history of this colossal geyser and view the amazing natural phenomenon in action. Day 4. Yellowstone – Mammoth – Gardiner

Board your snowcoach again for your transfer across the frozen landscape en route to Mammoth Hot Springs. Your day will be filled with incredible scenery and plenty of photo opportunities.

Day 5. Yellowstone – West Yellowstone, Montana

An early departure takes you to the remote Lamar Valley in the scenic northwest corner of Yellowstone. You will traverse forests and meadows before arriving in the Lamar Valley where you will be surrounded by tranquillity. This area of the park is not only breathtaking but is also an excellent habitat for the park’s wildlife. This is where, in the 1990’s, previously endangered wolves were reintroduced to the park. There are now over 400 wolves living here. We depart Yellowstone Park and cross the border into Montana before arriving in West Yellowstone for the night.

Day 6. West Yellowstone – Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Today’s journey brings you south through Idaho to the picturesque Caribou Targhee National Forest. You will be amazed by the stunning views of the Grand Tetons as you make your way to Jackson Hole. Day 2. Rapid City – Keystone – Rapid City

Arrive at Mount Rushmore, whose epic figures carved in stone represent the first 150 years of American history. Stroll along the Presidential Trail, providing the closest access to the iconic sculpture. Visit the Crazy Horse Memorial and learn the story behind the world’s largest mountain sculpture still in progress. The memorial includes the Indian Museum of North America, the Native American Cultural Centre, the sculptor’s studio, and an orientation centre and theatres. Day 4. Rapid City – Hot Springs – Rapid City

Set out for Hot Springs to see the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided tour through part of this endless prairie of 11,000 acres where over 400 wild horses run free. This is how America appeared 300 years ago. You’ll also see Indian petroglyphs over 10,000 years old, a prairie dog town, an authentic Native American Sun Dance site, and the movie set from the classic, Crazy Horse. Day 5. Rapid City – Badlands – Wall – Rapid City

Today, explore larger-than-life Badlands National Park. Upon arrival, make a stop at the visitor centre. Set the stage for your adventure with its informative exhibits, displays and video introducing you to this area. The Badlands Loop Road is a marvel of vibrant colours and rock formations created by mineral deposits. Next, enjoy a stop at Wall Drug, an authentic store from 1936, where there is time for lunch and browsing. The afternoon is yours. Venture out on your own or relax at your hotel. Day 6. Rapid City – Deadwood – Spearfish – Rapid City

This morning you travel to Deadwood, a rollicking western town and National Historic Landmark. Perhaps you’ll fulfil a childhood dream of living in the Old West. Faithful recreations of turn-of-the-century streetlamps light the way through accurately restored architecture. Upon arrival, a local guide introduces you to the history of the city including a visit to Mount Moriah Cemetery. You’ll also make a stop at Kevin Costner’s Tatanka: Story of the Bison. This interpretive centre features large, awe-inspiring sculptures depicting the relationship of bison and the Lakota Native Americans.
